When you browse the iHeartCats store you’ll notice that we promise to provide meals, toys, and other items to shelter cats in need. Cats like Ladybug.

Ladybug was living in a hoarding situation and had so many litters of kittens that she could not produce milk for the last litter. There were over 50 cats in the house; the smell and conditions were horrific.

Today Ladybug is living with her foster, and has gone from 3.5 pounds to 6 pounds, is spayed and fully vaccinated. She has developed Vestibular disease from seizures caused by her emaciated condition, but the food donated through Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program has helped her nearly double her weight and recover most of her balance and motor skills. Soon she will find her forever home!

“Without the food provided by GOODS, we could not help cats such as Ladybug get healthy and find forever homes. With the support of Rescue bank, we have placed over 1,050 cats and kittens in a four-year period, and have nearly 200 cats and kittens in foster homes currently.” – Los Gatos Foster Animals
