I spend my days lounging, obviously, and chasing lizards on my back patio. My human loves me and I love her just the same right back. There are two dogs that live with us who I tolerate—and when they are lucky I let them hang out with me. In the evenings I walk the neighborhood with my mom and the dogs, my short Maine coon legs just have to move a little faster to keep up. But I know how much my human loves me because she always turns around every so often to make sure they aren’t moving too fast for me to follow. The kids in the house are gentle with me, and I repay them for their kindness by snuggling with them when they sleep at night. Everyone always tells me how special I am, and the neighbors always ask about me when checking their mail in front of my house. I’m using my second chance at life to spread joy, and I think I’m doing a pretty great job.
Ozzy and Janis
“Hi there, Our names are Ozzy (bottom) and Janis (top). We both just started working with the company not too long ago, but we have really been loving it since day one. All the other animals have been so kind and welcoming to us, even the dogs! Ozzy manages a couple Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, and I am editing and writing articles on www.iheartcats.com! Obviously I love writing on a cat site, I feel like I’m great at it… since I am a kitty after all.”
Hi, I’m Roxy and I help out with articles from time to time on iHeartCats.com. I really am the cat’s meow, with a large belly I look just like Pusheen! My cute antics inside a cage at an adoption even 11 years ago caught Kristina’s eye and she took me home. No cattitude here! Having been abandoned twice before, I am just happy to have a permanent loving home so I am just a big ‘ol lover.
Hi, I am Scamper. My cat mom dropped me and my 5 siblings under a nice lady’s house. Since my mom owns an animal hospital, the lady brought us all to her. Dr. Kathryn Primm (she is resident vet here at iHeartcats) planned to take me home and teach me not to be afraid of humans. That was about 4 months ago and she has never returned me! The humans at my house are very quick learners though. I have shown them how to meet my needs with swift precision. They feed me, buy me toys, keep my litter box clean, and play with me every day. I call them my “minions”. I have also befriended the dog, Skye, and I have taught her how to do my bidding as well. One day, I plan to write a manual for other cats to show them how to train their own minions, as I am clearly very skilled at it. If you do not believe me, ask my mom.
Well hello there. My name is Theron (Ted for short) and I am the Accounts Payable Coordinator here at Homelife Media. You might not guess it from the picture but I have a real head for figures…when I’m awake. Actually, this is the face I make when my assistant Becky Berg is late with my 2pm can of wet kibble. Nobody gets paid if I’m hangry.
