When this Brazil-based vet student met a little trooper who had 3 legs, he knew they belonged together!

Raphael Mattoso adopted a little gray kitten who was missing his hind leg. Named Armani, this sweet fluffball cannot be stopped!

We bet that once he graduates, the future vet will have a soft spot for helping tripods of all kinds. After all, the first-hand experience of caring for an animal who’s come from special circumstances has got to be the best education of all.

The two have a very special bond. Just look at these adorable photos:

They love cuddling together.

“He is a warrior cat! He doesn’t realize that he doesn’t have a little leg! He does it all!” Mattoso said in LoveMeow.

See how well Armani gets around despite losing a limb?

Armani even helps Mattoso with his vet studies!

“The trust we have cannot be put into words. I love my little warrior cat,” said the proud cat-dad in LoveMeow.

There’s no doubt that this baby’s intrepid spirit demonstrates one of the reasons that Mattoso was inspired to become a vet in the first place–and what a motivator! See more adorable photos on Instagram @phaelvictor.
