When our cats are kittens, they’re so easy to pick up and cuddle. By the time they grow older, they’re usually still small enough to be held, if they’re willing – but they can get heavy!

One Maine Coon, who’s grown exponentially, still loves being held and doesn’t seem to notice his huge size!

Tihon is a beautiful white cat living with his humans in Moscow, Russia. As a 6-month-old kitten, he used to love being held. A year later, at several times the size, he still can’t wait to snuggle in his humans’ arms!

Barely past kittenhood, Tihon still has some growing to do. But his mom wouldn’t have it any other way.

“He likes to sit in my arms all the time. He doesn’t like to be alone, and always follows me wherever I go, even the bathroom,” she said in a story by Love Meow.

This gorgeous Coon is most certainly a gentle giant. “He is very quiet. In Russian ‘Tiho’ is quiet, hence his name. He purrs quietly and lovingly. His mission is always to be near me,” his mom said in the story.

Tihon, with his affectionate personality and gem-colored eyes – one hazel, one blue – is absolutely irresistible. It’s no wonder that his family loves to hug him every chance that they get!

As soon as they come home, their big lovebug greets them at the door, begging for some snuggles.

They have another, smaller cat, but laid-back Tihon lets his sibling do the bossing around!

Well, most of the time!

Oh, what we wouldn’t give to hug this handsome boy!
