When you see her, don’t be surprised if she’s craning her impossibly long neck to get a better look at you.
Why?
Because as the shelter reports, Oliva is “part domestic short-haired cat, part…giraffe? Llama?”

Olivia Makes Friends
The Friends of Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control are a group of volunteers who work with the Anne Arundel County Animal Care, caring for animals and raising funds for the shelter. These dedicated volunteers reach deep into their hearts and their own pockets to meet the needs county budgets can’t match. And Olivia the cat is one of many animals who find love with the Friends of AACACC.
And the white and grey tabby cat has made many friends among the volunteers. She’s believed to be around 4 years old and came to the shelter as a stray, her past a mystery. With her curiously long neck and wide green eyes, Oliva is definitely a looker.

Her purrrsonality makes her even more lovable too.
iHeartCats.com learned Olivia is a curious girl and “quite affectionate” according to volunteers. The cute cat also doesn’t mind be social either, doing “really well in the viewing room.”
She’s ready for her forever home too! If you’re near Anne Arundel County, MD, and ready to adopt a cat, maybe Olivia is the feline for you!

Special Cats Rescued
Toby the cat has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and is simply precious with his wrinkly face. But beyond cute, he and his parents are raising awareness about special needs cats as well as crusading a petition to make animal abuse content against community standards on Facebook and Instagram. Toby was adopted from the RSPCA of England.
Belarus the Neblung cat has a condition called strabismus. Its the reason for his crossed eyes. His unique look draws people to his Instagram page, where fans can purchase Belarus merchandise that raises money for animal rescues. He was adopted from the San Francisco Animal Care & Control.
Hamilton the Hipster Cat started life as a feral kitten. But the Humane Society of Silicon Valley plucked him from the wild life and prepared him a forever family. Though earning the mustachioed kitten’s trust was tough, it was well worth the effort. Hamilton and his family work hard to spread the message of rescue and adoption.

These four cats, along with rescue cats across the world, prove all felines are special and that every kitty matters.
