You’re a hero to Alice the cat, and she wants to thank you for shopping with purpose! Your excellent taste in cat merchandise ensured she always had a full bowl while recuperating with the cat lovers of Detroit City Kitty Rescue after poor living conditions robbed her and her sister of love and health.

When Alice and her sister arrived in their care, they were underweight and filthy, with cereal stuck in their fur. The two darling Tuxedo ladies were riddled with fleas and their own waste. They were sick and hungry after rescue staff suspected the pair had been living life trapped in a small carrier. But, donations from the GOODS Program ensured these cats in need had plenty to eat and made medical care possible. And that’s where you come in, cat lover.

Working Together for the GOODS

By shopping with iHeartCats, you’re empowering our partnership with Greater Good Charities and enabling donations via the GOODS Program, a pet food distribution initiative in the Greater Good Charities family. This vital program has been keeping hungry bellies full for over a decade, and to date, the GOODS Program has delivered over 578 million meals to shelters and rescues across the country. That’s more than 6,000 truckloads delivered to hungry animals.

Detroit City Kitty Rescue in Michigan is always happy when a truck full of food arrives so they can feed all the kitties. Plus, these food donations mean there’s more money left for medical care cats like Alice so desperately require.

“By having the opportunity to obtain this pallet of Meow Mix Salmon Wet Cat Food, and only paying the shipping and handling fee, we are able to put the funds we would have spent on the retail cost of this food toward the medical care Alice and her sister so desperately needed,” shared Detroit City Kitty Rescue.

Now, Alice and her sister are “healthy and thriving” in the comfort of a loving foster home.

“Their fur has completely grown back in, and they are free of fleas, intestinal parasites, and illness.”

Awaiting adoption, these classy kitties will soon know the joy of a forever home with a family who will treat them like the precious angels they are! And the GOODS Program has a huge part in making these happy tales possible.

“Thank you to J.M Smucker Co/Meow Mix,” said Detroit City Kitty Rescue. “Thank you to 4 Paws Animal Rescue Ambassadorship, and thank you to the GOODS Program! #amlifythegood”

So, keep shopping with iHeartCats and amplifying the good for felines who need your help!
