Amber LaRock

Amber LaRock is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 12 years of experience in the field. She originally worked in emergency veterinary medicine at Airport Freeway Animal Emergency in Euless, Texas, but transitioned to an online career that allowed her to volunteer with international animal rescues. From there, Amber began her journey of creating informative and engaging pet health content.

Amber joined the iHeartCats writing team in 2019 and began to showcase international animal rescues with a series on iHeartDogs called Amber Abroad. She now lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand with her two cats, Oliver and Quinn, and she does marketing and social media management with a preventive pet health subscription company called Vetted.
