Mrs. Andrews is a teacher in Texas who is loved by her class. So when her beloved cat passed away, they were determined to make her feel better.

A couple days after her cat crossed the Rainbow Bridge, these students planned a wonderful surprise for their grieving teacher.

Mrs. Andrews was thrilled when her thoughtful kids presented her with a bouquet of roses and cupcakes…

THEN CAME THE KITTENS!

Watch Mrs. Andrews’ surprise, below:

While it’s never recommended to give animals as gifts, we bet that these students knew their teacher was on the lookout for some new feline friends to fill her heart and home once more.

What a beautiful gesture–we love how thoughtful these students are! Best of luck to Mrs. Andrews, her new kittens, and her amazing students!
