#1 – American Curl

These unique felines sport ears that are curled backwards! Originating in Southern California, these kitties weigh roughly 5-10 pounds.

These neat looking cats have no outer fur, but only sport a soft undercoat that feels like down feathers. These cats weigh in around 6-10 pounds.

#3 – Devon Rex

Another Rex breed, the Devon Rex sports a slender body, large ears, and a wavy coat. Considered to be one of the most intelligent cat breeds, the Devon Rex weighs around 5-10 pounds.

#4 – Munchkin

Despite their “normal” cat appearance, Munchkins are bred to emphasize their dwarfism. These adorable shorties are also one of the smallest cat breeds weighing in between 5-9 pounds.

#5 – Singapura

The Singapura is considered to be the smallest cat breed. The breed is said to have been established from street cats in Singapore, and has the unique markings of a ticked tabby. Singapura cats weigh only 5-8 pounds.
