As living artwork created by nature’s paintbrush, cats are stunning subjects in front of a camera lens.

But those of us that have ever tried to catch the perfect picture of a feline knows cat photography can be for the birds sometimes! Cats have their own agenda, even when it comes to having their portrait made. They do as they choose and when they’re done, you better hope you got that shot because the moment is gone forever.

A photographer and videographer based in Sweden, but native to Iceland found this out the hard way. But Arnúlfur, also known as that.icelandic.guy, was quick on the shutter button and captured some cute shots of a stray cat who gave him only seconds to capture her majesty.

Stray Cat Stunning

Arnúlfur is currently spending the summer in the countryside, where landscapes are lush and ready for the capture. While he’s been there, he’s had a regular visitor. On a video posted to TikTok, he showed the world his gorgeous new friend. A lovely lady stray cat!

In the video, Arnúlfur wrote, “I showed it my TikTok and asked if could take some epic portraits”.

Seeing something she liked, “The cat agreed”.

In the video, she trots along with Arnúlfur, her fluffy booty swishing, until the pair reaches a mirror placed in the thick, green grass. Thanks to some snacks, the cat sat herself on the mirror, ready for her closeup. To catch the cat’s purrfect angle, Arnúlfur squatted down to place the camera on her level, creating magic.

But the magic didn’t last long as cats will be cats!

Arnúlfur shared on Instagram, “It took some bribing to get her to sit there. I think I got like 20sec before she got bored and left”.

But in that 20 seconds owed to the snacks he fed her, he captured stunning shots thanks to the stray girl’s lovely patchwork fur and the mirror.

The Results Have Social Media Falling in Love

The reactions to the collaboration have been amazing, echoing the thoughts of cat lovers everywhere. One TikTok user exclaimed, “What!?!! How!??! Those pictures are the best i have ever seen”.

Another user said, “Bruh, my dog wants to date your cat after seeing this”.

Instagrammers felt the love too, one comment reading, “Wow!! So majestic!!”
