In Corona, California, a stray kitten was discovered in the bumper of the car. As people tried to save her, she got spooked and jumped onto a storm drain grate. She was so tiny that she slipped through the slats and fell down a hole that was 7 feet deep!

Animal Control and the fire department were called, but they couldn’t help the little kitten. That’s when the Sierra Pacific Furbabies rescue launched a valiant and creative plan to save her! It took four days, but they never lost hope…

Good thing Megan is so resourceful! We’re so glad little kitten Cali is home with her hero!
