Denver, Colorado is home to skiing, hiking–and this specially made cat wine!

Apollo Peak Cat Wine has developed a beverage that’s organic, non-alcoholic, and safe for kitty consumption.

“It’s made like a tea,” Apollo Peak founder Brandon Zavala told The Huffington Post. “But since we got it to look so much like a wine, we want it to be perceived as a wine by the consumer — that way they can feel as though they are having a glass of wine with their pet.”

However, this special brew may still give your little meower a buzz.

Explains the Apollo Peak website:

All of our cat wine products have a proprietary blend that includes all-natural organically grown catnip, fresh beets and natural preservatives to help hold the taste and color. We believe in natural ingredients for our particularly classy feline friends.

And as far as the aforementioned effects of this “happy juice”?

The site says:

Well, depending on how much they drink – the effects will vary. When cats smell catnip, they tend to get funny, move around and play a lot. The exact opposite occurs when they ingest catnip. They normally will become more “mellowed” out when they drink the wine so it might actually help for those restless nights.

(Of course, not all cats are affected by catnip.)

But if you think your feline would like to sip the ‘nip, she’s got two flavors to choose from: Pino Meow or Moscato.

Finally, you and your BFF (best feline friend) can be giddy kitties together!

And don’t forget to put on your favorite “drinking wine with the feline” shirt for full celebratory effect:
