When a fluffy little kitten gazes up at you in wide-eyed wonder–or a suspicious cat gives you a narrow-eyed glare from the safety of its perch–you can’t help but think of the cute and cunning characters from classic Disney films.

Check out these ten magnificent meowers, who look as if they were the models for these nostalgic films. From cute to conniving, these iconic characters have found their real-life dopplegangers…although, the real-life cats are all purring protagonists in our book!

1.Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland

Okay, so he’s not purple, but that grin looks familiar!

2. Rajah from Aladdin

Maybe Jasmine’s pet tiger was really a very large, striped cat.

4. Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp

5. Lucifer from Cinderella

There’s no way this pretty yellow-eyed kitty is as evil as his cartoon counterpart.

7. Dinah from Alice in Wonderland

This inquisitive little fluffball is almost as curious as her young owner. Almost.

And of course, the kittens of the Aristocat gang:

8. Marie from The Aristocats

This white kitten and the prettiest little member if the Aristocats family look like twins!

9. Toulouse from The Aristocats

This orange sweetheart has the Disney doe-eyed look down pat!

10. Berlioz from The Aristocats

And this blue-eyed baby completes the third doppleganger in the trio!
