Word problems in math have long been notorious for giving a person more of something than truly needed. What does Joe really need with 265 oranges? And why is he selling 154 of them to Sara?

At least the silly quantities found in math problems have turned into fodder for humor. So, when mixing a feline and comically high numbers of watermelons, we’re given a sum of meme gold.

But who is this fierce-faced feline, so serious about his watermelon guard duty?

Pearl the Guard of Watermelons, Serious Face, Sweet Feline

Pearl and his family live in Thailand, where they run a large farm. As a good family man, Pearl helps his humans tend the land. He’s decided the watermelons need his protection most. And he’s quite serious about guarding them. For six years, he’s stared down any would-be melon thieves, scaring them away with his chilling glare.

But for all his sourpuss appearance, his family mom claims he’s a sweet kitty boy.

When the day is done and the watermelons are safe and locked away, Pearl relaxes as hard as he works!
