In Chester, Pennsylvania, a 35-year-old woman is facing animal cruelty charges after authorities say she poured bleach onto food that had been left out for local cats. According to police, Lauren Carter has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals in connection with the April incident.

For Jumper’s owner, Olivia Oliver, the outcome brought immense relief.
