It’s no secret cats can be unwelcoming at times. And when it comes to dogs, felines can be downright menacing if they’re not in the mood for company.
Tuesday the dog learned this the hard way when he came upon a group of cats having a meeting on the sidewalk. From the reaction of the cats upon seeing Tuesday, it seems the felines were in the middle of serious discussion. And weren’t happy about being interrupted.
It was a nice morning for a walk in Tampa, FL, something Tuesday and his human did every morning. Tuesday’s human shared, “Every morning we take the same walk in our neighborhood.”
But with the moon full, Tuesday’s human said, “This morning specifically, I woke up early to try and see the full moon but unfortunately it wasn’t in sight, so I took Tuesday on a different route and ran into the neighborhood street cats.”
All was quiet until the pair came upon the furry gang. Tuesday, being a friendly pup, just wanted to say good morning to some fellow furry ones. But, the cats weren’t having it. And lucky for us, Tuseday’s human caught the incident on camera!

When the felines spy Tuesday on the approach, one scaredy-cat takes off as the dog notices the glaring of cats on the sidewalk.
As happy Tuesday approaches, tail wagging, the cats rise from their haunches in what looks like a choreographed motion. The four felines round their backs and puff their fur at the pup, who just wants to say hello.
Look at those cats double in size!
One of the black cats acts as leader of the pack and takes a menacing step forward while his trio of buds have his back. Here, Tuesday decides, you know what, never mind!
Poor Tuesday retreats back to his human for safety, checking behind him to be sure the cats aren’t sneaking up on him.
Amused, Tuesday’s human scoots closer to the cats. The faithful hound he is, Tuesday stays close. But the cats refuse to back down. The lead cat seems offended that a dog would breathe near him and his feline friends.
Tuesday really tries to tell the angry kitty everything’s okay, he just wants to friends! But the fluffy black cat ain’t having it and launches into battle.
“Needless to say, they weren’t happy to see him,” joked Tuesday’s human.
And though the cat pounce looks terrifying and the howls sound of injury, Tuesday’s human assured, “No animals were harmed in the making of this video and Tuesday is well trained on and off of a leash.”
Poor Tuesday! Bet he’ll think twice before trying befriend any more street cats!
