While cat cafés have been cropping up in a few cities, the vast majority of the United States (and the world) are having to do without. If you live in one of those places and have been wondering what the fuss is all about, here is a short video of the brand new Purrington’s Cat Lounge in Portland, Oregon.
This video was filmed grand opening weekend and they were at capacity. It was loud, with music in the background and people talking over it. But the feedback was positive. People truly seemed to enjoy petting the cats while eating the tasty snacks provide in the café side of the establishment.
