The poet Pam Brown once said “Cats can work out mathematically the exact place to sit that will cause the most inconvenience.”

Kudret Çelebioğlu, Presenter of the Turkish show, Good morning Denizli learned this the hard way when a stray kitty invaded the set and stole the show during his Tuesday morning broadcast.

A video shared via Twitter shows the cat pop up from under the news desk, hop boldly onto the table, and strut right in front of Çelebioğlu! The presenter keeps his cool and continues right on with his news delivery, adding good-humoredly:

“So let’s present to our audience…this cat, who’s jumped onto the table, as you can see,”

Finally the tabby and white cutie finds himself the perfect spot to rest – right on top of poor Çelebioğlu’s laptop!

The folks at Denizli Radio and Television (DRT) believe the little stowaway entered through an open studio door seeking warmth, shelter and maybe a snack.

It turns out he chose the right show to photo-bomb – the cat has since been adopted by a member of the production staff and named Hüsnü which means beauty, excellence and goodness.

Hüsnü’s surprise visit inspired Çelebioğlu to remind his viewers that winter is just around the corner and they can help stray animals by offering food and shelter through the cold, harsh months.

Turkey is known for treating their stray cat population with love. It is quite common for food to be put out for them and doors to be left open during winter according to DailySabbah.com.

Kudos to Mr. Çelebioğlu for his kindness and professionalism, and to the whole DRT staff for treating their uninvited guest with compassion and a whole lot of humor!
