Snow Can’t Stop This Spunky Senior Cat From Getting To A Good Meal

| February 21, 2015

This winter has been rough to say the least. More snow seems to be falling every single day, and if you live somewhere that’s being hit hard, you really have no choice but to make the best of it. That’s definitely what this cat and her humans have decided to do in the video you’re about to see.

Plume is a 14-year-old cat with a the energy (and apparently the appetite!) of a kitten, who liveis in Quabec. After one particularly heavy snow storm, he was not shying away from the cold weather. We see him hanging out on the back porch enjoying the snow until his owner Ann says the magic word: FOOD!

She places a bowl of Plume’s kibble on the snowbank (he has apparently attempted this stunt before, which is why Ann thought to record this time) and we watch as this energetic cat bolts through in search of his food. And just like that, Plume is inside (and so is lots of the snow he brought with him!). After a quick shake-off, he’s totally unfazed by his daring move. Goes to show, you really can’t keep a cat from his food…

Too cute! Watch the entire video below:

I feel like there should be a slow-mo version of this, just to make Plume seem even more badass. Does your dog mind the snow? Share in the comments!
