Not every pet finds the perfect home right away, and sometimes, the reasons for being surrendered can be truly surprising. One incredibly affectionate cat named Ravi is looking for a new family after his previous owners decided he was simply “too loving.” Yes, you read that right! Thankfully, The Little Guild, an animal shelter in Cornwall, Connecticut, is determined to find him a home where his affectionate nature will be truly appreciated.

The Cat Who Just Wants to Cuddle

To help Ravi find the right family, the shelter shared a video of him on social media, hoping to reach potential adopters. In the heartwarming clip, Ravi’s affectionate personality is on full display. As soon as a shelter worker opens his cage, this sweet 8-year-old cat eagerly climbs into her arms. He snuggles up close, pressing his face against hers, showing just how much he loves human interaction. In return, he gets gentle kisses and endless affection from the shelter staff.

“This cuddly 8-year-old boy wants a family that will love him unconditionally,” the shelter wrote in the caption of their video.

The Internet’s Heartfelt Reaction

Millions of people have watched Ravi’s video, and the response has been overwhelming. Over eight million viewers have seen the clip, and many were shocked and heartbroken that someone would give up such a loving pet. Social media users expressed their frustration and disbelief in the comments, with many saying they would be overjoyed to have such a snuggly companion.

While it’s sad that Ravi had to go through this, there is hope that he will soon find a family that adores his affectionate nature. With so much love to give, it won’t be long before this sweet kitty finds the perfect forever home.
