How many cats do you see in this picture? The easy answer is four, but if you look a little harder, you might spot a fifth cat! It’s not in the grass, and it’s not under the house.

Hint: one of these kittens is not like the others! Look at the little guy on the right!

Twitter user @TOKAITRICK_bot spotted these four stray kittens near his home in Japan, but it’s the “fifth cat” that caught the internet’s attention.

The markings on this cat’s face are unmistakably the silhouette of a resting cat – two ears and a rounded behind, resting on his legs, laying on this other cat’s upper lip like a catstache. He’s pretty well hidden in the picture above, but once someone has pointed him out, you can’t miss him!

Japanese Twitter users have suggested that @TOKAITRICK_bot take the kitten to a vet for care and adopt him, but he’s been reluctant to break up the family and has decided to play it safe. He says that mother cat wouldn’t like it, and wouldn’t make it easy.

That’s not to say that he’ll go unloved – “Catstache Cat” has been living with his family, and is now loved by people all over the world for his unique look! Based on the amount of feline fanatics out there, we know that this little family will be looked out for.
