“Oliver was a five-week-old kitten someone dropped off at one of our veterinary partner offices. Oliver had a broken leg and lacerated ear. After a month the ear lacerations were doing bad, and his ear shriveled. He was getting bitey from not having any siblings, so we introduced him to Rosie, a Calico kitten of the same age who became his recovery partner. The break turned out to not heal as anticipated and at three months, Oliver needed a leg amputation.
