Herman “The Scaredy Cat”, as his human lovingly calls him, isn’t scared at all. But you wouldn’t know it from the perpetual expression on his face. Herman was born with large, bulging eyes. At nearly six months old, he hasn’t yet grown into his disproportionately-sized eyeballs.
Herman, an exotic shorthair, lives with his family in Copenhagen, Denmark. He required his meals to be hand-fed when he was a kitten, so he’s very comfortable and trusting of people. His family says “he’s little of size but full of energy and lots of fun.”
Despite his unusual appearance, Herman has no health issues. It can be hard to tell when he’s sleeping though, since he can’t completely close his eyes! His family can usually tell when he has fallen asleep because he has a bit of a snore.
