Don’t Let This Cat’s Angry Face Fool You! He’s Actually Happy To Be Adopted!

| January 23, 2016

There’s a saying that goes, “Never Judge A Book By Its Cover”

Well that saying applies to this cat named Angry Pearl.

Angry Pearl is a cat who look angry all the time. In fact, I don’t think anyone’s resting b!tch face can ever measure up to this cat’s seemingly unimpressed, angry-looking face.

But that’s just how Angry Pearl naturally looks. Her face may look angry, but she’s a very happy cat. Especially since she got adopted!

Will Highsmith and his girlfriend decided to adopt a cat. So these two went to the shelter and decided to adopt that they think is least likely to get noticed or get adopted. Will told The Dodo that they wanted to get an older cat. And when they saw Pearl, she knew she was the one!

Pearl is six years old, and she had the sternest face there. Judging by her angry facial expression, they thought she was miserable.

So the couple adopted the Pearl. They thought that her facial expression would change once they welcome her into their home and shower her with love.

Then they discovered, Pearl’s angry face, is just her “default” face. That’s just how her face normally looks.

Pearl wasn’t angry at all. In fact, even though she looks unapproachable, she is a very affectionate, sweet, and loving cat.

The couple just loves her. And other people seem to like her too! They decided to make a Facebook Page and an Instagram account for her. And after just a few days of posting her photos, she now has over 10,000 followers on Instagram!

So there you go! Don’t judge a cat through looks alone. Because even if Pearl looks angry and unhappy, she is in fact a sweet and happy cat!
