Cutest Rescue Puppy and Kitten Are Best Friends

| April 23, 2015

This video shows the adorable and unlikely story of a kitten and puppy that are inseparable best friends. Ruggles, the Shih Tzu puppy, was rescued from awful conditions in a puppy mill and brought into the shelter with the hope of finding a better life. His kitten friend, Chompers, was found all alone under a porch when she was only 2 days old. Perhaps their rough start in life helped them bond together quickly at the shelter and now they’re living in their own, happy and health forever homes!

Although they were good friends in the shelter, Ruggles and Chompers were adopted out separately. Unfortunately, Ruggles suffers from some health issues and Chompers, true to her feisty name, became too rough a playmate for him. But don’t worry, both are living wonderful lives and Ruggles is now an ambassador for Cherokee County Animal Shelter, where he visits schools helps educate children on puppy mills and shelter dogs.
