Dina Fantegrossi
Dina Fantegrossi is a retired veterinary technician with 18 years of hands-on experience helpings dogs, cats, and exotic pets feel their best. She used her creative skills as an avid reader and hobbyist writer to produce educational materials and manage the social media pages at her veterinary clinic. From there, Dina began freelance writing for sites, such as BarkPost and Cattitude Daily before joining the iHeartCats team.
Dina currently has two-and-a-half dogs:

Finch, a senior Poodle mix rescued from a hoarding case in Columbia, SC.

Kio, a senior Chihuahua rescued as a Hawaiian street dog and brought to SC by his former owner, who sadly passed away, leaving Kio at risk in a kill shelter.

And Sissy, a rescued backyard breeding dog from rural SC. Sissy is technically Dina’s current foster dog, but she has been with the family for more than two years now!
