Abandoned Cat Born With No Eyes Finds Loving Home When Her Photo Goes Viral

| December 1, 2015

Rescuing a cat can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. I rescued my sweet cat, Mr. Purple, and in just the 2.5 years that he’s been with me it’s hard to think of a life without him by my side. Not all kittens have an easy start, and that couldn’t be any truer for Frea, the tiny ginger tabby born with no eyes.

Some young boys were playing in their backyard when they found the helpless kitten, and thought that she was a newborn and not yet able to open her eyes. The boys’ parents contacted Wags 2 Wishes to get help for the tiny kitten, and rescue workers arrived quickly. After taking a closer look, they could see that this little girl, who they named Frea, was actually born without eyes. The rescue took her in to care for her, and after a photo of her went viral online, adoption requests started pouring in!

What a beautiful twist of fate for a kitten that once had no one to love her, who now has people just begging to take her in. Share this heartwarming story with your friends who love cats, just like you!
