When you purchase items from the iHeartCats store, some of that sale is donated to Greater Good. Greater Good supports many cats in need, but it’s all thanks to the donations they receive. Thanks to customers like you, cats are able to have happy lives simply because of the money that’s been raised for them. One of these cats is a sweetheart named Ava.

Ava is a loving cat that’s unfortunately been in at least 3 homes so far. She’s finally found where she belongs, but it took her some time to get there. Saving Cats and Kittens in Michigan found her when she was only about two years old.

She was found in someone’s yard, and she was very scared and hungry. Her ear appeared as if it had been cut on a fence. She seemed to be lost, but Saving Cats and Kittens was determined to help her. They fed her, microchipped her, and got her spayed. They also checked for any health concerns and ended up getting rid of some parasites on her.

Once Ava was healthy again, she was adopted by a nice family with children. However, 3 years later, Ava was returned to the rescue. The family had gotten a new kitten, so they no longer wanted poor Ava. Saving Cats and Kittens knew Ava could still find the perfect forever family though.

They made sure that Ava was up to date on vaccines once again, and soon, they found a new family to adopt her. Ava enjoyed her life with the new family, but after the wife had surgery, things got a bit hectic, and Ava ended up getting lost outside.

Saving Cats and Kittens received an email not long after from the microchip company. They asked if Ava had been lost, so the rescue contacted her family right away. As soon as the family knew Ava’s location, they rushed to go get her and were relieved that she was safe. She had been staying in a woman’s garage for a few weeks, but of course, she was overjoyed to see her family again.

If it wasn’t for Ava’s microchip, she might have ended up lost forever. Thankfully, she was found as soon as possible, and she is back with a family that loves her.

Thanks to the purchases from the iHeartCats store, Greater Good is able to provide money for microchips so that cats like Ava don’t get lost. iHeartCats sells a variety of different cat products including clothing for you and items for your cat. Every purchase makes a difference, so thank you to everyone that has purchased iHeartCats products to help cats like Ava!
