Dogs have an incredible way of surprising us with their caring and selfless nature. Just when we think they can’t possibly be more heartwarming, they find a way to prove us wrong. A woman recently shared a sweet encounter on TikTok that showcased just how much of a “best friend” a dog can be.
Alice Benham was out for an early morning swim when an unexpected visitor appeared. While she floated peacefully in the sea, a curious dog swam up to check on her. It seemed the pup noticed her lying still in the water and decided to make sure she was safe!
The dog’s actions quickly won the hearts of viewers. The video showed the protective pooch circling Alice as if to guard her until she moved and showed signs of life.
These poor kitties were rescued from an animal cruelty case where they were starved, locked in cages with inches of feces, and received no water or food. Now, these cats need your help!
The comments section lit up with people praising the dog’s concern. One user couldn’t help but express, “We don’t deserve dogs,” while another jokingly added, “Actually that’s the lifeguard.”
