Cat Trapped On Ledge Of 30-Story Building Was About To Jump

| September 30, 2024

While cats are known for their ability to successfully leap from tall places and ‘land on all fours,’ they should never face what this cat did. The Orange Tabby ended up in a resident’s apartment in a 30-story building. He was not welcomed, so the homeowner shooed him out the window onto the ledge. He became trapped for 20 days. Other residents put food out for the cat to try to lure him in. But the kitty was too afraid to move. The residents called a rescue group for help.

Fearing the cat would jump 30 stories, they had to act swiftly. Plus, he was hungry and dehydrated. His skinny body was marked by the traumatic events he was forced to endure. They set up a humane trap, but the cat was too frightened to move on the narrow ledge. They had no other choice but to grab the cat and pull him in. This was risky. One false move and he would surely fall to his death.

As soon as the cat saw the device the rescuers were going to use to grab him, he ran. The rescuers had no choice but to run from room to room and see if they could grab him from there. But then, the unthinkable happened. The cat jumped.

How did a woman in New Jersey accumulate 47 animals - which she then neglected horrendously - after she had already been found guilty of abuse against 99 animals in Pennsylvania? Sign the petition to ban her from ever owning or living with animals in the future!

Everyone gasped! Thankfully, the cat landed on a platform a few floors down. He was okay! But the cat still refused to be captured. He escaped into an open window nearby. The rescuers got there immediately and closed the window to trap the cat. IT WORKED! Soon, the cat was safely placed inside a carrier and taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for malnourishment and dehydration.

This rescue is unbelievable! Click below to experience it for yourself. Thank you to the volunteers for saving this precious life. As for the residents who put the cat outside on the ledge- shame on you!
