Garfield the cat was just a cartoon character until we meet this cat named Garfield, who is exactly the same as the cartoon character. This obese cat weighing up to almost 40 lbs is considered to be the world’s fattest cat! Garfield was brought to North Shore Animal League of America in Long Island, New York, after his owners passed away. Unfortunately, Garfield’s weight is threatening his life and doctors say that he needs to lose some weight to keep him in good health! Nevertheless, this is one cat you wouldn’t want to miss!
