We always want what’s best for our kitty friends but it always saddens any cat lover knowing they can’t find a home. What’s even worse is that people in Japan, like other countries, put down a large number of cats every single day. A sad reality that is really painful to think about.
Neco Republic, an organization in Japan which helps abandoned cats, built a home to foster these kitties while waiting for adoption. The best part is that you can stop by in their cat cafe and enjoy the company of a few of them kitties! They just opened early this year but have already rescued 40 cats running around the four rooms. All of these cats are fed, given their own place to sleep, litter boxes, and toys to play with. Who would have thought that these abandoned cats, through Neco Republic, are now living a luxurious life? Very lucky!
