Have a new feline family member? Wondering what to name him or her? According to Trupanion’s database of almost 30,000 cats, here are the top names for this year in catdom.

#1 – Bella

Interestingly, this is the same name that made it to the top of our dog list. Apparently many pet owners think there furry family members are “beautiful.” We do too.

Aside from the famous Oliver Twist, there is just something about this name that says, “I am spunky and ready to take on the World.” This Makes it a purrfect name for a cat.
