The holiday season can bring a lot of stress for a variety of reasons and it often leads us to forget exactly what we’re celebrating. Lucky for us, two kittens got together to remind everyone what the holidays are really all about.
These 10-month-old adopted kittens, Louie and Luna, were spotted kissing under their Christmas tree by their owner. He snapped a few shots and shared them with the rest of the world and people are overwhelmed by how cute they are.
“They’ve been inseparable since they were adopted and they always do everything together,” owner James told Buzzfeed. “They sleep, eat, and tear apart my Christmas tree as a unit.”
He’s read comments about how inspiring his two little kittens are and couldn’t be happier. He says he loves seeing people happy and feels good that his kittens can bring people some happiness and comfort during this holiday season.
That’s perhaps one of the best things about animals – they don’t have to confine to our social constructs around holidays and gatherings. These two kittens love each other all the time, and they didn’t need to let any stress get in the way of their feelings for each other. They remind us that family is family and no matter how crazy the holidays get, we always have to take a step back and just appreciate each other.
