This amazing woman is nursing 175 sick and old cats in her home. She turned her eight-room house into a new home for these rescued felines. Maria Torero, 45, of Lima, Peru spends $1,785 a month on these cats for them to be treated with their diseases and some other illnesses; also for their daily care. Aside from that, she also built bed-bunkers for them and shares the furniture at home with her three kids.

Many of these cats were found roaming the markets and streets in Lima before being taken into her loving care. Most, if not all, were old, scrawny, flea ridden and very ill. Since no one was willing to take in these ailing felines, she decided to keep them instead. She gives them medicine and helps get rid of all those parasites. Such a nice woman! As she said, “My best gift of love and respect I give them in life.”

Share this wonderful story to your cat-lover friends! I’m sure, they’d be surprised with Maria’s kindness! 😀
