Animals teach us so many lessons like how to be compassionate, empathetic, and unconditionally loving. They also teach us the true meaning of persistence and how to be resilient, even in less-than-ideal circumstances.

This is Scooter, a cat who was found as a stray and has permanently paralyzed back legs. But that doesn’t stop her from achieving her goals!

Along with her human, who obviously has an optimistic attitude, this kitty can achieve amazing feats.

“Good luck telling me what I can and can’t do. Except jumping; I definitely can’t do that,” reads Scooter’s humorous Instagram page.

Recently, Scooter’s human posted an inspiring video of the not-so-disabled kitty scaling a flight of stairs.

This is what “determination” looks like:

“When I get to the top step, the floor is hardwood, so I get stuck. Yet I still climb them all the time for some reason,” reads the video’s caption.

Holy cow, Scooter! You are truly an inspiration. And to Scooter’s human: thanks for not giving up on this incredible cat!
