Found on the side of the road in Nashville, TN, this poor cat was taken to Cat Shoppe Rescue to get help. King Leo’s fur was severely matted and over 2lbs of it had to be removed. He probably knew that he was in a bad condition so he was quiet and didn’t complain while the workers cared for him. He was dangerously overweight for a cat, tipping the scales just over 23 lbs, which is massive for his small frame.

Patricia, a vet technician at the Cat Shoppe Rescue adopted Leo and regularly gives him water treadmill treatment. She and her family are on a mission to help him lose weight and get him healthy for good. Living in a forever home with such caring family, how can King Leo not get better and lose weight in no time at all!

It’s really difficult to lose weight but if you have enough exercise, eat right and have supportive loving people encouraging you, then you’ve already won half the battle! Health is wealth for both humans and our beloved pets so share this video and inspire someone to take better care of themselves! 🙂
