In Kingsland, Auckland, Kathryn van Beek was on her way home from work when she spotted a small gray kitten on the roadside. It was raining, and at first she thought she just saw a small gray fluff, but when she recognized that it was a kitten, crawling on the side all alone, she quickly went to its aid.
The kitten was around a day old, he even still had an umbilical cord. Kathryn first asked the neighbors if the kitten belonged to anyone, and when no one claimed the kitty, Kathryn decided that she will be the one to rescue the poor guy.

Little Bruce is so lucky that Kathryn found him on that roadside. He wouldn’t have survived if he wasn’t rescued and taken in by Kathryn’s family.
Would you do the same if you find a kitten who needs your help?
