Meet The World’s Ultimate Cat Lady Who Gives Over A 1,000 Stray Cats A Loving Home

| January 19, 2016

Whether you’ve got one cat or five cats, us cat ladies may have been called a “Crazy Cat Lady” at some point or another. (I know that I have, but I don’t mind so much–sorta like a cool badge of honor!) But for one woman living in California, she’s taken the Crazy Cat Lady label to a whole new level. Lynea Lattanzio might be the frontrunner for the world’s ultimate cat lady–because she lives with 1,100 cats!!

The cats seemed to overtake the 4,200 square foot house, and the Lynea, 67, lives beside the home in a trailer on her six acre property so that her cats can have the run of the home.

With roughly 800 cats and 300 kittens in her care, this woman takes the official title if you ask me. But better yet, she runs California’s largest no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats, known as the Cats House on the Kings. Watch this video and prepare to smile when you see just how much this sweet older woman loves her felines:

(And if you’d like to donate or sponsor a cat, you can do so here. Every little bit counts!)

Isn’t she such a beautiful woman with a heart of gold? I certainly think so!!
