“Come on Joey, just climb up, one step at a time, son. You can do it!” Seems like that’s what mama cat Sophie told her eight-week-old kitten as she encouraged him from the other side of the baby gate. “You can do it, Honey! Okay, hang on tightly now as you go over the “wall” – whoops! It’s okay, just take it easy now!”
Watching out for him while he went over the baby gate and giving encouragement just wasn’t enough for Sophie. Look at how she hugged and cuddled him for a job well done after he had gotten down – what a sweetie she is! And look, she even groomed him a little too. Sophie sure is one proud mama cat!
It sure seems like Sophie the cat likes to teach her kitty, Joey, the fine art of escaping at a very young age. I guess she believes in the adage that starting em young leads to perfection! Share this video and let’s see if other mommy cats do the same thing to their kittens!
