It’s truly amazing how simple the wishes of some hospice patients are. It’s a beautiful reminder that the best things in life are simple, usually free, and too often taken for granted.

When a resident named Carol at the Groves Community Hospice in Missouri simply wished for some kittens to snuggle, they made sure her wish would be granted. By teaming up with the Great Plains SPCA, they were able to give Carol one of the best days she could have asked for.

“We all know that pets can sometimes be just what the doctor ordered. So when we heard from GC Hospice that they had a resident whose only wish was to snuggle some kittens, we couldn’t say no. We brought not just one, but a whole basket of kittens to snuggle up to!” the Great Plans SPCA wrote on Facebook.

This is so precious–we’re thrilled that Carol’s wish came true! Watching how these kittens made her day made our day, too. We wish this cat lover and her family all the best.
