While all the humans escaped unharmed, the story took a heartbreaking turn when Prince, the hero cat, tragically died. After jumping out of his owner’s arms, Prince inexplicably ran back into the house, where he succumbed to the deadly smoke. The family believes that the cat may have returned inside to search for another person.
Though Prince is no longer with them, the family will forever cherish him as their savior.
