In the clip, Mavi is seen comfortably perched on a sofa, relishing in the gentle head scratches Laura is giving him. As she pets him, Mavi can’t help but rub his entire body against her hand, his tail twitching with joy. But when Laura pauses, Mavi immediately sits beside her, gazing up at her with anticipation. After a brief moment, he begins to reach out with his paw, gently poking her as if to say, “Please don’t stop.”
Laura, knowing Mavi’s routine all too well, sometimes teases him by stopping the petting midway. Mavi, ever the persistent one, patiently resumes his position and, with his paw, politely asks her to continue. Sadly, this seems to have been a disturbing pattern that must be addressed. To protect future animals and provide him with the support he needs, he must be banned from ever owning animals again and undergo mandatory counseling.
