Typically, it’s parents who accompany their children to school, but one teacher recently discovered that, for one of her students, a kitten has been taking on that role! In a funny and heartwarming TikTok video, Chelsea McClain shared the surprise she encountered when she walked into her first-grade classroom one morning.
There, among the pile of coats, was a small, unexpected visitor – a kitten! The little furball, named Sugar, had decided to follow her young owner to school and then make herself at home in the classroom. Naturally, Chelsea couldn’t resist snapping a selfie with the furry “chaperone.”
Curious viewers flooded the comments, wondering what happened after Chelsea discovered Sugar in the classroom. She later clarified that the student’s parents came to pick up the adventurous pet and take her back home. These poor kitties were rescued from an animal cruelty case where they were starved, locked in cages with inches of feces, and received no water or food. Now, these cats need your help!
