While Frank drove past an empty field, something caught his eye—a cat laid there, alone, in desperation. Someone had abandoned the poor guy. Frank described the cat as a ‘loaf of bread’ because of his appearance. He wasn’t sure if he belonged to anyone until he looked deep into his eyes and saw his sadness. This cat had long been forgotten.
Frank couldn’t leave him there, not like that! He decided to bring him home. He gave the kitty, he named Biscuit in ‘homage to his bread-like appearance,’ a warm bed and food to eat. The sad cat eventually made himself at home. And as Frank showered the deserving kitty with attention and love, the cat tearfully looked at him to say, “Thank you.” Biscuit was finally at peace.
