Some cats just aren’t fond of travelling. All of the excitement and stress can be too much for some of them. On the other hand, some absolutely love the thrill of going out, seeing and smelling all of the different things. Making them the perfect companion for a long road trip!
As long as they’re completely secure in the car, then why not take your cat next time you leave town? I have a neighbor who walks her cat on a leash and I like to hold my cats and carry them around my yard during the day to let them enjoy the outdoors and sunlight for a while since they are mainly indoor cats. I think this is an awesome idea as long as your cat is willing and isn’t stressed out!
