Not everyone is a fan of babies, despite how cute they are. Babies are curious but also very delicate, which can be a tricky mix. While many people adore them, some would rather avoid being around them.

We all know some adults who feel this way, but we won’t say who. However, one cat perfectly shows this mood of a reluctant babysitter stuck with a bunch of babies.

The video starts with a cat sitting a foot away from some very young puppies. These puppies are so cute they could melt anyone’s heart—except for this cat. The cat looked at the puppies like they might make him sneeze, staring at them cautiously.

The cat tried hard not to be overwhelmed by their cuteness, but it was tough when one puppy decided to approach. This little puppy, with its tail wagging, came closer to greet the cat. The cat froze and then leaned back as if disgusted by the puppy.

People who watched the video noticed that the cat was gentle, probably understanding that these were just baby animals. They might be annoying to him, but they weren’t a threat. The puppy didn’t give up trying to be friends. It followed the cat everywhere, sniffing and exploring.

It was like a scene from a movie where the cat was the grumpy old man, and the puppy was the eager Boy Scout. The more the cat avoided the puppy, the more determined the puppy became, climbing all over the cat to get him to play. Eventually, even the cat had to give in.

The puppy’s persistent love softened the cat’s defenses. The cat finally lay down, letting the puppy climb over him without trying to escape.

How did a woman in New Jersey accumulate 47 animals - which she then neglected horrendously - after she had already been found guilty of abuse against 99 animals in Pennsylvania? Sign the petition to ban her from ever owning or living with animals in the future!

Being a reluctant babysitter isn’t easy, but for this cat, it’s full of adorable energy. All he has to do is lie down, watch the puppies play, and make sure they don’t fall off the bed. It might seem simple, but for this cat, he’d rather be somewhere else than with these cute puppies.
