Meet Roux, the adorable cat that is so cute she will make your heart melt. After being born with a congenital deformity that caused her to only have her two back legs, life proved to be a hard road initially for this precious kitty. Because Roux was unable to cover her waste in her litter box, she was surrendered to an animal shelter just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana so she could find a loving forever home.
This is when Jackie Deak Akey, an employee at a local vet clinic that works with the shelter she was delivered to, spotted her and instantly knew this kitten had stolen her heart at first sight. After taking her in, quickly Jackie realized that her new kitten, who she named Lil’ Bunny Sue Roux Hendrickson Dean Akey, lived life just like any other cat and that nothing in the world could hold her back.
Not only has Roux proved that she can live life to the fullest, but with the help of social media she has spread her joy all over the internet.
