It’s sad to know that there are cats who are victims of animal hoarding. These cats were expecting love and care but the condition that they were in was unbearable. In Alachua County, Florida, the Humane Society of the United States rescued over seven hundred cats and kittens who were living in horrible conditions in a hoarder’s residence. It was supposed to be an animal sanctuary but when they checked in the house, it was anything but! One rescuer said he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the conditions of the cats- “these things don’t happen overnight” as he recalled! I can’t imagine how these cats were able to survive such hard environment like this. Luckily, all the cat were taken to the shelter and given medical attention right away!

Good thing there are people who devote their lives in saving these precious cats! Please leave a comment below and share to us your own story of rescuing a cat.
