These kittens are practicing their playing, which is actually quite important! The playing helps them to develop their hunting skills for when they’re older and fully-grown.
But today isn’t just about the usual playtime. Nope! These cuties have a visitor… a very LARGE visitor. The family German Shepherd is allowed to come into the kittens’ room for a visit! Mari seems like a giant compared to the little ones, so we’re nearly certain her size will automatically place her in charge of the kitties… right?
Well, Mari heads in and greets them in her own special way. While they’re not sure what to make of their big new friend, the kittens quickly figure it out. Snowball kitten is the only one brave enough to approach Mari at first, but by the end of the video they have Mari so well trained that she’s actually cleaning them! How CRAZY!?
Well done, kittens, well done. You KNOW cats rule the world when 5-week-old kittens have the ability to make a GSD their servant! 😉

Golly, that was sweet enough to raise your blood sugar! So darn adorable, those guys!

Do you have kittens AND a dog in your home? How did their first meeting go? We’d love to hear your stories so feel free to tell us about it in our comments section lower down on this page! 🙂
